Abstract:

Three new Sericini (Coleoptera, Melolonthidae) from Greece and Turkey are described: Maladera (Aserica) bruschii sp. nov., collected in vilayet of Antakya, is a dark-brown species, and glabrous; it can be easily separated from the other species of the genus by the peculiar shape of its aedeagus. M. (Aserica) cerrutii sp. nov., from the isle of Cyprus, is a pale brown fulvous species, possibly closely related to M. syriaca Petrovitz. It can be distinguished by the different shape of the parameri. Homaloplia cerrutii sp. nov., collected in the isle of Thasos, Greece is related to H. erythroptera Frivaldszky, but can be distinguished by having an erected and longer elytral pubescence, a different aedeagus and a smaller size.
