| Abstract: | Species (55) from Greece, 3 spp. from Cyprus and several unidentified and doubtful taxa are presented. Fifteen species and 5 sspp. are new to science while 2 former spp. have been downgraded to subspecies level. A few important faunistic data on Plecoptera from Yugoslavia and Turkey are also included. The zoogeography of the Plecoptera fauna from Greece and from neighboring countries is discussed. Descriptions are provided for Brachyptera beali cretica ssp. nov., B. transcaucasica Kykladica spp. nov., Amphinemura quadrangularis sp. nov., Protonemura cressa sp. nov., P. malickyi sp. nov. and P. libanocypria sp. nov. |
