| Abstract: | Leptocythere ostrovskensis sp. n. (Crustacea, Ostracoda, Cytheridea) from Lake Vegoritis (Ostrovsko Ezero), NW Greece.- A new species, Leptocythere ostrovskensis, from lake Vegoritis in northern Greece is described. The five remaining ostracod species of the genus Leptocythere restricted to freshwater habitats as well are redescribed and a key for all known freshwater Leptocythere from the Balkans is given. |
